FASHION FLYING HIGH!
We were commissioned to identify and design new retail locations in Shanghai’s Hongqiao Airport – West Terminal. The airport authorities were seeking additional prime space that would not interfere with operations. Our research included site investigation, market assessment and consideration of all leasing and phasing issues. With many operational and spatial constraints, a very innovative solution proved successful – to infill several voids with duplex shops in the heart of the airside terminal. The result brought 1 st line international brand stores into these large, prime locations, with little or no impact on airport circulation/operations, and with great financial benefits.
